ELEKTOR is a class of its own in Poland, with not many emulators matching the reputation and standard of the service that has already made this Cracovian hotel renowned far and wide, and staying in it memorable.

The Hotel ELEKTOR is situated in the historic city centre of Cracow. The house in which it is lodged has been entered in the Register of Historic Monuments. Our entire restoration project was carried out by a team of specialists on the basis of an intricately detailed adaptation plan for a hotel. Thanks to this we have been able to show the historic features of the building in their full glory. The professionalism of our personnel ensures that exceptional atmosphere of authentic hospitality. We devote the same care and attention to the requirements of Royalty as we do to our other guests' needs. We make sure that intrnational standards are always maintained in the Elektor, and guests show their appreciation by giving us the highest testimonials for quality and standards. We have the honour of hosting Royalty from all over the world, such as their Imperial Highnesses Prince and Princess Takamodo of Japan, His Majesty King Harald V of Norway, His Highness the Grand Duke Jean of Luxembourg, and Her Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn of Thailand, along side international celebrities like His Excellency the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Mr. Boutros Ghali. Every Thursday at the Gallery at 6 p.m. we celebrate some sort of an artistic event (admission free), attended by various artists, actors or authors, some of them already well renown for their first artistic ventures, yet all of them always truly inspiring in their endeavours.

The Hotel ELEKTOR has 12 suites (for one or two persons) and three single rooms designed to bring out the historic features of the interiors against a background of modern luxury. Each of our suites and rooms is fitted out with ots own bathroom with full sanitary facilities, satelite TV set (12 channels), its owntelephone line, and a fully stocked minibar. Our suites consist of a bedroom (what our guests appreciate particularly is the comfort of our beds) and a drawing-room with a leisure comer and a business desk area. For Guest who would like to stay a bit longer we have prepared 6 self-contained apartments in the Elektor Anex building located just 50 meters from the main Elektor building. The Hotel Elektor also houses a restaurant dining 26 in the best gourmet traditions. Our catering follows the customs of the stately homes and our Chef de Cuisine prepares rare delicacies of the Old Polish aristocratic tables following the exclusive recipes from the household of Prince Potocki derved in a French manner. We have had the honour of dinning the most eminent personalities from the world of international politics, business and culture; and also of preparing and serving the farewell lunch to her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II in the historic setting of the Collegium Maius. The Royal bill of fare included Spring Salad a l'Elektor, Roast Leg of Veal and Peaches in Champagne for dessert. Our wine cellar, which seats 40 revellers, is situated in the historic 14th-century basement of our Hotel, and it serves the finest vintage wines. Its professional service and warm club atmosphere ensure the right climate of relaxation which our patrons admire so much. There is also a dance hall in the wine cellar, fitted out with the latest state-of-the-art but also discreet equipment and lighting effects. We organise a veriety of events and business presentations relying on our wealth of experience. We always endeavour to maintain our high standards and we are pleased when the participants of these presentations contribute to their atmosphere.
