Hotel-Pension Gabriele is beautifully located on the edge of a forest and at the foot of Mt. Hochgern (Altitude 1744m/5722ft.).

Since 1969, our family-run hotel has been offering Bavarian hospitality and friendly service in homely surroundings. In addition, our sun terrace and wide lawn provide space for relaxation. Some people prefer to treat themselves to our in-house beauty therapy (upon request).

You will certainly feel at home in the friendly atmosphere of our comfortable rooms. The majority of our rooms offer an enchanting panoramic view of the Alps in all their grandeur. We can accomodate up to 50 guests in our hotel. All rooms have a bath or shower, toilet and TV and some rooms also have direct-dial telephones. There is a choice of smaller and larger rooms with or without a balcony. Our long-term residents especially like our self-contained holiday appartments own kitchen, lounge and balcony.

In the warm and comfortable surroundings of Gabriele's restaurant, co-owner and Chef de Cuisine, Heinz Wenninger, stands ready to spoil you and your family with his wide repertoire of local Bavarian dishes and international treats. His professional career spans from Berlin's famous hotels, such as Kempinski, Hilton and Intercontinental, to Davos in Switzerland and further to South Africa.

by plane: The nearest airports are Munich (95km/59 miles) and Salzburg (69km/49 miles). by train: If you're arriving by train, we can pick you up free-of-charge from Übersee station. by car: The quickest way is via the A8 motorway linking Munich and Salzburg. Take the exit marked Bernau and continue along route B305 passing first through Bernau, Grassau, then Marqartstein until you arrive in Unterwössen...
