Birkebeineren Hotel / Motel & Apartments was established more than 50 years ago, and we are pleased to see the development from a youth hostel to a modern hotel. Much has happened during these 50 years and we are still developing. The accommodation facility now offers 40 well-equipped and pleasant apartments (each with 6 beds), 40 refurbished hotel rooms and 35 plain motel rooms, 390 beds in all.

The hotel: The hotel wing was refurbished in 2001. We can offer 28 double rooms and 12 double rooms de luxe, a total of 40 hotel rooms. Most of the rooms can be used as family rooms, as 20 of them are connecting rooms. The double rooms de luxe, which are twice as large as the regular double rooms, have a double bed in the bedroom, a double sleeper sofa in the separate lounge area, a dining table and a fridge. All hotel rooms have WC/shower, TV, hairdryer and telephone. We can offer WLAN in all rooms, free of charge. The Motel: 35 rooms in the main building, rooms with 2 and 4 beds (bunks), single rooms and rooms designed for handicapped persons. The WC is on the corridor. There is a shower and sauna area in the basement. All the rooms have TV, telephone and a sink. Linen and towels are included in the price. The guests make their own bed. The apartments: The apartments are situated right behind the main building in 10 large cabins, each with 4 stylish and cosy apartments. Each apartment is of 60 m² and has 3 bedrooms, 6 beds, 2 bathrooms with shower/WC, fully equipped kitchen, dining table, large living room with TV and telephone. Each apartment has a lockable storage room and a veranda. A total of 40 apartments.
