The historical (1901 AD) hotel building was recently reconstructed. The original facade, stucco decorations, stained-glass windows, forged railings and woodcarvings around the doorways were carefully preserved and restored. "Artesse" hotel commands an enviable location in Prague’s picturesque Mala Strana area close to Vltava riverside - Kampa. It is just 15 min walk to the Charles Bridge and 20 min walk to the Prague Castle (or 4 tram stops). 25 min walk or 10 min by tram to the Venceslav Square and Old Town. Trams stop is near the hotel. Metro station Andel is in 5 min walk or 1 tram stop from the hotel. There are beautiful gardens in the area (Kinskeho Gardens and Petrin Hill Park) for romantic walks or jogging. There is an observation tower on the top of Petrin Hill from where You can see the whole Prague.
