Quinta do Atlantico in its grounds covering some 3 acres is close to the village of Sta. Barbara de Nexe - just a few minutes from beautiful beaches, the yachtmarina and the city of Faro. In an peaceful area you enjoy a fantastic clear view of the coastline, the island and the Atlantic ocean.

Room information :

Each of the seven brightly furnished double rooms has its own bathroom and a private terrace or balcony facing south with a view to the atlantic ocean. Also a table with chairs and a Radio-CD-Cassette-Player. All rooms provide a ventilator or heating. Extra bed EUR 18 per night. Kids until 6 years in bed of parents are free of charge.

In the mornings we serve a delicious breakfast buffet with rolls, different kinds of bread, cheese and ham, marmelade, honey, cereals, cornflakes, yoghurt, fresh fruits and coffee, tea, juice, milk or cocoa. During the day you can order dishes from our snack- or dinner-menu.

High season: 21st of June - 21th of September each year. Reservations in high season will only be accepted with a minimum stay of 5 nights, shorter stays by request.

Child Policy :

1 Kid until 6 years in bed of parents free. Extra bed kids until 12 years: 9,- per night. Extra bed older than 12 years: 12,- per night.

In the typical Algarve-village Santa Barbara de Nexe you will find shops, restaurants, bars and pubs. The pittoresque historic city centre of Faro is worth discovering as well. Various shopping malls invite to window-shop. Enjoy the endless sandy beaches on Ilha da Faro, Vale do Lobo and Quinta do Lage. Those searching for solitude have the possibility to take the ferry to the preliminary islands. The moderate climate is ideal for various sporty activities like tennis, water-sports, diving, riding, cycling or walking. Don't miss out two of the most famous golf-courses: Vale do Lobo and Quinta do Lago. Esepcially during the summer season you will be surprised by the broad offer of events and nightlife.

Travel information :

16 km to the airport(15 minutes), public transport in 30 minutes. From the airport of Faro you don´t drive into the city of Faro. You take the second excess, direction to Loule - Portimao. After a few kilometres on these street there is a little village on the right side called PATACAO. There you leave the motorway to the right and follow forward the sign to Sta. Barbara de Nexe. When you reach Sta. Barbara after a few kilometres, you are in front of the church, there you drive to the left, direction to LOULE. We are on the road between Loulé and Sta.Bárbara de Nexe. When you leave Sta.Bárbara in the direction to Loulé it's about 1.8 km to drive from the church. After you passed the sign "Canal" you reach "Pé do Cerro". After Floras Mini-Mercado on the left, there is a long left curve, then it goes uphill. On top of that little hill there is a sandy, half round parking place on the right side. If you stop there , you see vis-à-vis on the left a small street going downhill. On this street after approximately 80 meters, you will find Quinta do Atlântico on the left.
